Kimberly grew up in Ohio where she inherited her love of boating from her grandfather who had a little runabout boat for fishing, and from her father who owned at least four different sailboats during his lifetime. Feeling the call of saltwater, she moved to Southern California in the early nineties.
Soon after she joined a sailing time-share program and then a yacht club, allowing her to enjoy many years of boating all around Southern California including countless cruises to Catalina Island. Kimberly had the opportunity to cruise the Pacific side of Mexico in 2012-2013 aboard a Union Polaris 36’ sailboat and hopes to someday head back down there, and further, on her own vessel. She has been a live-aboard off and on since then.
In 2018 she became the proud owner of a 1979 Islander Freeport 36 and very much enjoys living on her. She feels that being on any body of water, but especially the ocean, is a magical experience. And when dolphins, whales and/or other sea life join the party, well, that just never gets old.
Kimberly has been working in the industry since 2016 and loves sharing her passion for boating, whether with buyers, sellers, newbies, old pros or those just curious about the lifestyle.
